Work Plan

As a network of public and private sector individuals, agencies and organizations, Wisconsin Rural Partners (WRP) creates an annual work plan that it implements through partnership-wide initiatives and events.

Initiatives are created to help coordinate and add value to efforts that are led by our partner agencies and organizations. WRP provides coordination of projects across agency, organizational and sector boundaries. We provide facilitation for groups of diverse members who have identified a common goal but whom have not worked together before. We provide training and technical assistance in building functional networks and partnerships.

Events are planned and implemented to meet one or more of WRP's mission areas: networks, leadership, and voice. Events provide WRP the opportunity to meet its educational charter to develop and deliver inclusive programs that capitalize on our members' collective expertise and resources to better serve rural people and communities.
